Fresh Water

 

Where is the fresh water? The previous owner stated that there was a single water tank and 2 fuel tanks. At first, I found 3 tanks and tried to acertain which was which. As I continued my searching, I found 2 more tanks and a small holding tank. The two tanks in front of the lazerette were fuel.

The 2 tanks in the bilge under the dining table were definately water. The last tank (?) seems to be in the bottom of the bilge behind the engine. All three water tanks have shut off valves feeding into an accumulator.

 

So, presumably, you do water management by varying which cut off valves are in what position. This also gives you backup water in case one or more tanks is contaminated. There is only one fill point on deck which seems to go to all three tanks. Next weekend, I will explore to see if you can specify which tank gets filled when.
